Josef Schmidt-Diemel

Josef Schmidt-Diemel (born March 19, 1898 in Bochum ; † September 11, 1960 ) was a German politician ( CDU , previously NSDAP ).

Schmidt-Diemel joined the NSDAP in 1937, but joined the CDU after the war. From 1947 to 1950 he was district chairman of the party in the district of Brilon . From December 19, 1946 to April 19, 1947 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia as a member of the second term. In addition, he was chairman of the supervisory board of the non-profit settlement and building cooperative in the Brilon district, under whose direction the Rennufer settlement in Obermarsberg was built.
