Josef Schwarzenbacher
Josef Schwarzenbacher (born November 18, 1956 in Lungötz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), farmer and construction technician. Schwarzenbacher was a member of the Salzburg state parliament from 2004 to 2013 and mayor of Annaberg-Lungötz from 1994 to 2019 .
education and profession
Schwarzenbacher attended the polytechnic course in Annaberg after elementary and secondary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer and carpenter at the Kreuzberger-Scharler company in Bischofshofen . He then attended the higher technical college in Salzburg and has been employed as a building supervisor at the office of the Salzburg state government since 1984 . Schwarzenbacher has also been managing the Rathgebgut in Lungötz as a sideline since 1982.
politics
Schwarzenbacher represented the ÖVP from 1984 to 1989 in the Annaberg-Lungötz municipal council and between 1989 and 1994 he was Deputy Mayor. In 1994 Schwarzenbach was elected mayor of the Annaberg-Lungötz community. Schwarzenbacher is also deputy regional chairman of the farmers' union and deputy district chairman of the ÖVP-Tennengau. On April 28, 2004, he was elected to the Salzburg state parliament, and in the 2009 state elections, Schwarzenbacher ran for eighth place on the ÖVP state list. In addition, Schwarzenbacher reappeared as mayor of Annaberg-Lungötz in the municipal council elections in 2009. He did not stand for election in the 2019 mayoral election. For his services to the community, Josef Schwarzenbacher was awarded honorary citizenship of the Annaberg-Lungötz community in November 2019.
Schwarzenbacher called his political goals the promotion of rural infrastructure and the preservation of part-time businesses, the creation of new jobs by relocating companies and the expansion of the education system in Tennengau and the equal allocation of state funds for tourism projects.
Private
Schwarzenbacher has been married since 1981 and is the father of two daughters and a son.
