Josef Seidl (doctor)

Josef Seidl (born December 31, 1901 in Eichendorf ; † March 26, 1985 ) was a German doctor and civil servant.

Live and act

Josef Seidl was born in 1901 as the sixth child of a farmer and flour trader. In 1921 he passed the high school diploma at the humanistic grammar school Leopoldinum (Passau) . He then studied medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He passed the state examination in 1926 and was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. After internship in Straubing and Pilsting, he settled in 1929 as a general practitioner in Scheyern . From 1946 to 1976 he was chairman of the medical district association Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . In 1972 he was awarded the Paracelsus Medal of the German Medical Association.
