Christof Fielstette (born July 14, 1971 ) is a German lighting designer with an international office in Hamburg .

Life

Fielstette studied architecture in Würzburg and Hamburg (Dipl.-Ing.Fh) and worked from 1998 to 2004 as a lighting designer and project manager at Ulrike Brandi Licht GmbH. In 2004 he founded his planning office in Hamburg as a freelance lighting designer "made by light - light planning". His tasks include artificial and daylight planning in service phases 1–9 (HOAI § 56). Together with his partner Arne Fiedler, he also develops project-specific lights. As a partner of Relux Informatik AG, he has been a seminar leader for training courses in the field of light simulation in Germany and Europe since 2004.

In 2000 Fielstette co-founded “Transnational Tanteidan”, an international group of “light detectives”. This group of lighting planners has set itself the goal of examining the importance of light in different cultures and promoting the next generation of students.
