Josef Sinn

Josef Sinn (born January 16, 1868 in Aachen ; † November 6, 1929 there ) was a German businessman and politician (center).

After attending school, Sinn trained as a businessman: For this purpose, he completed an apprenticeship in Aalst, Belgium, and attended the knitwear technical school in Limbach, Saxony . In 1912 he became a member, and in 1926 deputy chairman, of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his hometown of Aachen, where he also chaired the retail trade committee.

Politically committed Sinn was in the Catholic Center Party . On June 2, 1922, he entered the Reichstag as a replacement for the late MP Josef Nacken , where he represented constituency 20 (Cologne-Aachen) until he left in April 1929.

Josef Sinn died on November 6, 1929 and found his final resting place in Westfriedhof II in Aachen.
