Josef Tomschik
Josef Tomschik (born December 27, 1867 in Vienna ; † July 6, 1945 there ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SdP).
education and profession
After attending elementary school , he attended a trade school . Afterwards he became central secretary of the social democratic railway workers' organization in Austria.
Political functions
- 1907–1918: Member of the House of Representatives in the Reichsrat ( XI. And XII. Legislative periods ), Club of German Social Democrats ( constituency Austria under the Enns 35 )
He was also the second chairman of the party executive committee of the SdP.

- October 21, 1918 to February 16, 1919: Member of the Provisional National Assembly , SdP
- March 4, 1919 to November 9, 1920: Member of the Constituent National Assembly , SdP
- November 10, 1920 to October 1, 1930: Member of the National Council ( 1st , 2nd and 3rd legislative period ), SdP
- December 2, 1930 to February 17, 1934: Member of the National Council ( fourth legislative period ), SdP
