Josef Ursin (politician, 1822)
Josef Ursin , until 1866 nonsense (born December 13, 1822 in Michelhausen , † March 29, 1896 in Tulln ) was an Austrian politician of German nationality and a member of the Imperial Council of Lower Austria .
Ursin was a Tulln businessman and property owner . He was elected mayor of Tulln three times , namely 1870–72, 1876–78 and 1883–84. Although Ursin was a supporter of the Schönerer movement, he was supported by the Catholic Conservatives in the regional and imperial council elections. The cooperation disappointed and was not continued, so that he was defeated in the next elections.
Ursin had a son of the same name .
