Josef Vogt (politician)

Josef Vogt (born April 13, 1908 in Markdorf ; † February 17, 1996 in Sindelfingen ) was a German politician ( BCSV , CDU ).

Life

Vogt completed an apprenticeship as a newspaper clerk and was later managing director of the Catholic German Bodensee newspaper . From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . After 1945 he worked as an employee at a publishing house in Pfullendorf .

Vogt was involved in the Christian trade union movement and joined the BCSV after the end of the war, which later became the Baden regional association of the CDU. From 1947 to 1952 he was a member of the Baden state parliament and from 1952 to 1964 he was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament for the Überlingen constituency .
