Josef Wolfgang Dobernig
Josef Wolfgang Dobernig (incorrectly also Johann Wolfgang Dobernig ; born September 10, 1862 in Maria- Waitschach , Carinthia , † July 24, 1918 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician and journalist.
After high school, Dobernig became editor of the Triester Zeitung in 1881 , from 1886 to 1895 he was editor and from 1887 to 1907 editor of the Free Voices in Klagenfurt. He was a proponent of the Lot-of-Rome movement , but later turned away from it. From 1895 he was a member of the Austrian Reichsrat , where he represented German national positions. He was a member of the Carinthian Parliament and during the First World War chairman of the German National Association .
