Joseph of Hunyady

József János Nepomuk Antal Zsigmond Count Hunyady von Kéthely , briefly Josef Graf von Hunyady (born January 13, 1801 in Vienna , † March 9, 1869 ibid) was first court master at the Austrian imperial court.

Life

He was the son of János Hunyady de Kéthely (1773-1821) from Hungary , who had been raised to the Hungarian count status in 1792 and the imperial count status in 1797, and Franziska Countess Pálffy de Erdõd (1772-1827). Hunyady was first chief steward at the court of Empress Elisabeth of Austria . His daughter Karoline (1836–1907), later wife of Otto Graf von Walterskirchen , was a lady-in-waiting and close confidante of the young empress.

Hunyady married on October 1, 1825 in Vienna Henriette Princess of Liechtenstein († 1886), the daughter of the Austrian field marshal Johann I Josef von Liechtenstein (1760-1836) and the Countess Josefa zu Fürstenberg-Weitra (1776-1848).
