Joseph Sisters
As Josef sisters (including Joseph and Joseph Sisters ) are different congregations in the Roman Catholic Church referred to the patronage of St. Joseph are assumed.
There are several congregations called Joseph Sisters :
- the Joseph Sisters of Cluny
- Joseph Sisters of Lyons
- the Saint Joseph Congregation (Congregatio Sancti Josephi, CSJ) with the mother house in Ursberg Monastery
- the congregation of the sisters of St. Joseph in Saint Marc with a German branch in the St. Trudpert monastery in Münstertal / Black Forest
- the Joseph Sisters (Congregatio Sororum Sancti Josephi, CSSJ) with the mother house in Trier
- the sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition (Institutum Sororum a S. Joseph ab Apparitione, SJA), which were founded in Gaillac in 1832
- the Franciscan Sisters of St. Josef (FSJ) in Schweich
- the Sisters of St. Joseph , founded in 1650 in Le Puy-en-Velay by Père Médaille
- the various congregations of the Sisters of Saint Joseph , all of which date back to the founding in Le Puy and are mainly found in the United States and Canada
- the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart (RSJ) founded by Mary MacKillop in Australia
