Rating

Josep Traité is considered one of the best figurative artists in Catalonia. His paintings and sculptures must be located in a baroque art style. Carme Verdaguer writes in her book L'Escultura a Olot : The works of Traité are very personally shaped 1. by their face, 2. by their rhythm and 3. by their movement. In April 2014, the city of Olot dedicated an anthological exhibition to the artist in the Museu de la Garrotxa.
