Joseph Bottoms

Joseph Bottoms (born April 22, 1954 in Santa Barbara , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Joseph Bottoms comes from a family of actors. His brothers Timothy Bottoms (* 1951), Sam Bottoms (1955-2008) and Ben Bottoms (* 1960) also work in the film business. He has been an actor since 1973, the best-known film productions in which he was seen are Die Weltumeglung (1974), Frankenstein's Haunted Castle (1975), Holocaust - The Story of the White Family (1978), The Black Hole (1979) and Joseph's Gift (1998). He also stood in front of the camera for television series such as Profiler , Walker, Texas Ranger and VIP - Die Bodyguards .

Joseph Bottoms won a Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actor in 1975 for his portrayal of Robin Lee Graham , a 16-year-old boy who sailed the world alone in a 23-foot boat . The film The Dove ( The circumnavigation , directed by Charles Jarrott ) was also in the category Music Best nominated.
