Joseph Coombs
Joseph Coombs (born June 15, 1952 in Chaguanas ) is a former sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the 1976 Olympic Games he was sixth in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
In 1978 he won silver over 400 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games . At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton he also won silver in the individual competition and was fifth with the relay from Trinidad and Tobago.
The following year he was eighth over 400 m at the Pan American Games in San Juan .
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he was eighth in the 400 m and sixth in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
He set his personal best of 45.38 s on May 13, 1979 in Tuscaloosa .
