Joseph Hubert Hart
Joseph Hubert Hart (born September 26, 1931 in Kansas City ) is former Bishop of Cheyenne .
Life
The Bishop of Kansas City, John Patrick Cody , ordained him on May 1, 1956 as a priest of the Diocese of Kansas City .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on July 1, 1976 auxiliary bishop in Cheyenne and titular bishop of Thimida Regia . The Bishop of Cheyenne, Hubert Michael Newell , the same year donated him on August 31, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were Charles Herman Helmsing , Bishop of Kansas City-Saint Joseph, and Michael Francis McAuliffe , Bishop of Jefferson City .
Hart was named Bishop of Cheyenne on April 25, 1978, and was installed in office on June 12 of the same year. He resigned from his office on September 26, 2001.
