Joseph Lohr

Joseph Löhr (born January 21, 1878 in Kornelimünster , † April 19, 1956 in Bonn ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian and canon lawyer.

Life

After studying Catholic theology, Löhr received the sacrament of ordination in 1902 . In 1908 he was promoted to Dr. phil in Bonn , in 1910 Dr. theol. in Freiburg and in 1912 Dr. iur. in Munster. In 1914 he completed his habilitation in canon law at the University of Breslau . In 1920 he became a full professor for church welfare in Breslau . From 1926 to 1946 he was a full professor of canon law in Tübingen.

He was a member of the Catholic student associations KDStV Bavaria Bonn and AV Guestfalia Tübingen .
