Life
Joseph Michael Schnöller was the son of Martin Schnöller, who belonged to the Elbigenalp Masons' Guild , a sub-organization of the Great Bichlbach Guild in Bichlbach near Reutte, where he also learned the mason trade. He was successful so that he could get married on January 21, 1734. He had seven children with his wife Anna Maria. After the birth of their last child on September 19, 1746, the family moved to Alsace. The new building of the church in Grussenheim was probably the reason for this.
