Joseph Netherclift ( September 8, 1792 , † April 8, 1863 ) was an English composer and lithographer .

He was awarded a medal for his method of lithography in 1829 . He also made lithographic facsimiles of historical documents at least in 1833.

Possibly his best-known musical work is "We Happy Shepherd Swains", a madrigal for four voices.

Netherclift died on April 8, 1863 and was buried in Brompton Cemetery , London.
