Joseph Nikolaus Allgeyer
Joseph Nikolaus Allgeyer (* 1775 in Wasseralfingen ; † 1843 there ) was a German organ builder .
Life
Allgeyer came from the well-known Hofener organ building dynasty Allgeyer . He was the son of the Wasseralfingen organ builder Joseph Narzissus Allgeyer . In 1773 he married his wife Maria Anna Betzler (1773-1824), who was also from Wasseralfingen. His son Benedikt Allgeyer continued the traditional business.
Allgeyer took over his father's organ building business. In 1804 he built an organ for the parish church in Hofen, which was built by his great uncle Johann Georg Allgeyer the Elder. J. was donated. This organ was in operation until 1896.
