Joseph Organ
Joseph Organ ( Joseph LeRoy Organ; born July 12, 1891 in Sharon , Pennsylvania , † July 1966 ibid.) Was an American marathon runner .
In 1920 he was second behind the Finn Hannes Kolehmainen in 2:51:07 h in the US elimination race for the Olympic Games in Antwerp . Kolehmainen won the Olympic marathon in 2:32:36 hours, while Organ was seventh as the best American in 2:41:30 hours.
No other marathon results from Organ have been reported.
