Joseph Vogler
Joseph Vogler, SJ (born February 24, 1661 in Mering ; † June 23, 1708 in Ingolstadt ) was a German theologian and Jesuit .
Vogler entered the order of the Society of Jesus in 1676 at the age of 15 . He initially worked as a teacher at the Lyzeum Munich . In 1691 he was appointed professor of philosophy at the University of Ingolstadt . From 1701 he taught there scholastic theology .
His most important theoretical work, De legibus et fide , appeared in 1706 .
His bust was displayed in the Hall of Fame in Munich.
