Joshua Bassett

Joshua T. Bassett (born December 22, 2000 in Oceanside , California ) is an American actor , singer and songwriter . He gained greater fame for his role as Ricky in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series .

life and career

Bassett was on 22 December 2000 in Oceanside in the state of US California born a child of Taylor and Laura Bassett. He has five sisters. He didn't go to school, he was homeschooled.

He gained his first experience in musicals at the age of eight. Since then he has played in over 30 musical productions.

In addition to acting, Bassett can also sing and play the piano, guitar and drums.

Bassett played his first major recurring role in the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle , in which he played Aidan Peters.

Since 2019 he has played his first leading role as Ricky Bowen in the High School Musical spin-off series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series . He also wrote the song Just for a Moment from the series' soundtrack with Olivia Rodrigo .

In the spring of 2020, Bassett signed a contract with the United Talent Agency . His debut single Common Sense was released on April 3rd for download and streaming.
