Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20, 2003 in Temecula ) is an American actress and singer. She gained fame through the role of Paige Olvera in the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark and as Nini Salazar-Roberts in the Disney + series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series .

life and career

Rodrigo was born in Temecula and grew up in Murietta, California, USA . She gained her first acting experience in school theater productions at the Lisa J. Mails Elementary School and Dorothy McElhinney Middle School. She later moved to Los Angeles after receiving a role on the series Bizaardvark . On her father's side, she has Filipino roots.

Rodrigo first appeared on television in an Old Navy commercial . Shortly thereafter, she played the lead role of Grace Thomas in An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success . In 2016 she finally got the role of Paige Olvera in Bizaardvark , she embodied this role for three seasons. In February 2019 she was chosen for the lead role Nini Salazar-Roberts in the Disney + series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series , which started in November. Rodrigo wrote the song "All I Want" and co-wrote "Just A Moment", both of which can be heard on the series' soundtrack.
