Joshua Close

Joshua Close (born August 31, 1981 in Oakville , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Close grew up in Oakville, Ontario and attended the resident Iroquois Ridge High School where he began acting. He graduated in 2000.

He made his feature film debut in 2002 with a small role in the film K-19 - Showdown in the depth alongside Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson . Other film roles followed and in 2005 the first supporting role in The Exorcism of Emily Rose . In 2007 he played one of the leading roles in George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead . He also had a role in the ten-part miniseries The Pacific , which takes up the theme of World War II in the Pacific. He also played in the 2009 television series The Unusuals .
