The Journal of Strategic Studies is a leading academic journal for strategic studies , especially military strategy and diplomacy, published since 1978 . It is published bimonthly by Routledge ( Taylor & Francis ) in Abingdon and is peer-reviewed . The editors are Joe Maiolo from the Department of War Studies, King's College London (UK) and Thomas G. Mahnken from Johns Hopkins University (USA).
