Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld Orlando ( Orlando , Florida , USA ) is a water rollercoaster model Water Coaster from the manufacturer Mack Rides , which opened in 1998. It was the first roller coaster of this manufacturer's model.
A large part of the journey takes place within the elaborately themed building. The hybrid cars swim past scenes of a fictitious Atlantis and are then carried up to a descent with a chain lift hill. The descent describes a left turn and ends at another chain lift that transports the car to the final descent with watering. The train combines a roller coaster ride with elements of a dark ride and a wild water ride .
