Jouy-le-Comte
Jouy-le-Comte is a district of the French community Parmain in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France .
history
In 1228 Jouy-le-Comte was first mentioned in a document in a donation from the knight Jehan de Parmeng to the Cistercian Abbey of Notre-Dame du Val .
The Saint-Denis church was built in the 13th century.
In Jouy-le-Comte the Knights Templar maintained a command post.
