Juan Aubriot

Juan María Aubriot (* 1874 or 1876 ; † 1930 ) was a Uruguayan architect .

Aubriot studied at the mathematics faculty of the Universidad de la República in Montevideo, where he successfully completed his studies in 1904. Various teaching activities followed.

He was also president of the Junta Económico-Administrativa of Montevideo and the Comisión Departamental de Instrucción Pública .

His works include the building of the law faculty of the Universidad de la República, inaugurated in January 1911, which he designed in collaboration with Silvio Geranio . He also worked with Cándido Lerena Juanicó on the design of the Montevidean district of Carrasco . He is also responsible for the Palacio Lapido together with Ricardo Valabrega .
