Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (born December 5, 1967 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife ) is a Spanish screenwriter and director .

biography

Fresnadillo made his directorial debut in 1996 with the short film Esposados , which was nominated for an Oscar . His first feature- length film was Intacto from 2001, which earned him the Goya for Best Newcomer Director.

After this film he directed some commercials and in 2002 shot the three-minute short film Psicotaxi . In 2007 he took over the direction of 28 Weeks Later . For this end time - horror film he wrote and also previously with in his other works on the script.

With Intruders , Fresnadillo staged a horror thriller in 2011. The male lead took on Clive Owen .
