Juan Leiva

Juan Leiva ( Juan Antonio Leiva; born July 17, 1932 ) a former Venezuelan sprinter and hurdler .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, he was eliminated over 100 m and 200 m in the preliminary run.

In 1954 he won silver over 400 m hurdles at the Central America and Caribbean Games and bronze over 110 m hurdles at the South American Athletics Championships in São Paulo .

In 1955 he won silver in the 4-by-100-meter relay and bronze in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Mexico City . He finished fifth over 400 m hurdles.

He set his personal best over 100 m of 10.6 s on 12 pril 1953 in La Concepción .
