Juan Miranda (athlete)
Juan Miranda ( Juan Doroteo Miranda; * in San Basilio , Province of Córdoba ) was an Argentine middle and long distance runner .
In 1952 he won bronze in the 5000 m at the South American Athletics Championships in Buenos Aires .
At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1955 , he won the 1500 m and was fifth in the 800 m .
After his death, a street in the town of Río Cuarto was named after him.
