Juan Padrón
Juan Padrón Blanco (born January 29, 1947 in Jovellanos , Matanzas ; † March 24, 2020 there ) was Cuba's first and best-known animation film director .
He was the creator of Elpidio Valdés , the character of numerous short films and two feature films . He achieved international fame with the animated film ¡Vampiros en La Habana! , which is aimed primarily at adults and, due to the extraordinary plot, followed a certain cult around the film. Padrón has directed six feature films and countless short films. His film minutes are one-minute comedy skits for adults.
