Juan Rodríguez Romero

Juan Rodríguez Romero (born June 24, 1947 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda , Cádiz province , Spain) is a Spanish conductor, pianist, composer and university professor.

Life

Rodríguez Romero is professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel Castillo" in Seville . He performs internationally as a pianist and conductor and is the permanent director of the orchestra “Musiziergemeinschaft Mozarteum ” in Salzburg and the “Camerata Austriaca Linz ”.

He has worked on radio and television productions as well as CD recordings with orchestras in Hamburg, Berlin, Salzburg, London, Brussels, Prague and Budapest, among others. Since 2011 he has been a member of the ADE trio with Heinz Kraschl (viola) and Wolfgang G. Haas (trumpets).

Rodríguez Romero is a jury member and head of the places along the Guadalquivir held music festivals "Festival Internacional de Música a Orillas del Guadalquivir" (FIMOG), the International Clarinet Competition in Dos Hermanas and the International Trumpet Competition in Calvia , Mallorca.

He is a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts “Santa Isabel de Hungria” in Seville and a corresponding member of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando , Madrid.
