Career
Offensive player Sornichero came from the Real Madrid youth team . He was the son of Ángel Sornichero , a former football player from Atlético Madrid and the brother of the football player Ángel Sornichero . At the beginning of his career in the 1960/61 and 1961/92 seasons he belonged to the squad of the second division Plus Ultra - the predecessor club of today's Real Madrid Castilla . In the first season he was first used on February 5, 1961 against San Fernando in the Segunda División and completed a total of seven league games (no goal) by the end of the season. In the following season he made 18 appearances in the second division and scored three goals. The 1962/63 season he spent in ranks of the first division club Deportivo La Coruña and ran in four league matches (no goal) of the Primera División , all of which were played in the first half of the year. He made his first division debut on September 16, 1962 in a 1-0 home win over Sevilla. No statistical data are available for the 1963/64 season. In the 1964/65 season he was again a player at Deportivo La Coruña and was also in that season four times (no goal) in the first three months of 1965 in the top Spanish division. However, the Spanish newspaper ABC and other sources report deviating from 44 first division games in La Coruña. In 1966/67 and 1967/68 he played 34 times for Racing Ferrol in the Segunda División and scored 14 goals.
