Judea (state idea)

Proposed location of the State of Judea

The establishment of a state of Judea ( מְדִינַת יְהוּדָה, Medīnat Yəhuda ) is a proposal within the framework of the state solution that provides for the establishment of a Jewish state in the West Bank .

This form of state solution is particularly represented by the Israeli settlers and Kahanists . January 1989, a few hundred settlers declared their desire to found this state. Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpo also supported this idea in 2007. The proposed flag is very similar to the flag of Israel, but still shows a menorah . Alternatively, the two stone tablets with the Ten Commandments , which Moses is said to have received on Mount Sinai according to the tradition of the Torah, are also shown.
