Judith Tarr

Judith Tarr (born January 30, 1955 in Augusta , Maine ) is an American writer . Her publications mainly include fantasy and historical novels.

She studied ancient and medieval history at Yale and then classical history , Latin and English in Cambridge . Her career as a writer was shaped by writing fantasy books, which always included historical elements. However, she later turned more to historical novels. In addition to her work as a writer, she also breeds Lipizzaners on her farm .
