from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The youth press card (JPA) is a document that legitimizes the holder as a young journalist and is intended to help him with journalistic activities and research .

Exhibition and guidelines

As a nationwide, uniform ID, the youth press card is used by the regional associations of the youth press in Germany , the member associations of the youth media center Germany e. V. and from the Junge Presse Nordrhein-Westfalen e. V. issued to young media makers up to the age of 27 who are not full-time.

The basis for issuing the youth press card is an agreement between the youth press associations and the German Association of Journalists and the German Union of Journalists . The professional associations recognize the youth press card and support its issuing.

The youth press card is issued according to uniform guidelines that are laid down in a nationwide youth press card regulation: The holder must be a member of one of the associations and submit two proofs of journalistic work to the issuing association every year. An annual fee of 15 euros is charged on the youth press card. The extension takes place via annual stamps.

The youth press car sign serves as a supplement to the youth press card.
