Juho Forsman is a former Finnish ski jumper .

Career

Forsman made his debut in the ski jumping world cup on March 6, 1993 in Lahti . He reached the 47th place. On the following day he was also unable to convince with 60th place on the large hill. From the following season Forsman was part of the Finnish team for the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . In his first season in 1993/94, however, he only reached 34 points and was classified as 127th overall. Also in the following season 1994/95 he did not manage to improve and he was again ranked 127th with 31 points. Despite this, on January 28, 1995, he belonged to the national group for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Lahti. He surprisingly jumped to 38th place, but again remained without World Cup points, which were awarded to 30th place for the first time in the 1995/96 season . For the 1995/96 season he achieved an increase in performance in the Continental Cup, so that in the end he was ranked 87th with 100 points. However, this was the highest ranking of his career in the overall ranking of the Continental Cup. On March 4, 1998 he started again in the World Cup in Kuopio and was able to win the only five World Cup points of his career with 26th place. Three days later in Lahti, he narrowly missed the points with 32nd place. At the end of the 1997/98 World Cup season , he finished 85th in the overall standings. On March 22, 1998, he competed in his only World Cup competition outside of Finland in Planica, Slovenia, and then ended his active ski jumping career after finishing 33rd on the large hill.
