Jukdo ( kor. 죽도 , 竹 島 ), formerly Jukseodo ( 죽서 도 , 竹 嶼 島 ), is a South Korean island in the Sea of Japan .
geography
Jukdo is located about 2.5 km east of Ulleung Island and 120 km east of the Korean peninsula mainland. The Liancourt rocks are 90 km east of Judko.
Judko has a length of 700 meters in north-south direction and 400 meters in east-west direction.

A family of three lives on Judko (as of 2004) who farm on the island.

The island belongs to the village Jeodong-ri of the community Ulleung , County Ulleung , Province of Gyeongsangbuk-do .
