Juke Box Jamboree is a 1942 American animated short film directed by Alex Lovy .

action

A jukebox is playing music in a café. Next to the jukebox is a mouse hole in which a small mouse tries in vain to sleep. Even a short break in which the mouse tries to fall asleep in its mousetrap that has been converted into a bed is deceptive: the jukebox changes the record and starts again with the music.

The mouse climbs out of the mouse hole into the jukebox and tries to stop the disk. It is thrown through the air and knocks over various wine bottles from which the wine spirits rise. They begin to play swing and soon the turtles of the café's own mini lake are dancing to the music. A lobster on a plate also begins to dance and finally the mouse moves to the music. After a dancing encounter with a music-loving cactus , she suddenly sees herself several times and finally follows the many mouse shadows back to her bed, where she falls asleep.
