Julià Guillamon
Julià Guillamon (* 1962 in Barcelona ) is a Catalan literary critic and writer .
He studied Catalan Philology at the University of Barcelona . Since 1994 he has published his weekly reviews in the daily La Vanguardia . As an essayist, he has covered the literary appearance of Barcelona between the 1970s and the 1992 Summer Olympics. Guillamon has curated various literary exhibitions. One of his projects, Literatures de l'exili (Literature from Exile), has been exhibited in Barcelona, Buenos Aires , Santiago de Chile , Mexico City and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He was honored with the Serra d'Or Critic's Prize for Essay (2002) and the Octavi Pellissa Prize (2006).
