Life

Julia Heilmann studied art history in Jena, Barcelona and Berlin after graduating from high school. Then she worked in a scientific publishing house. She then ran an art bookstore until the birth of her children. In 2010 she wrote with Thomas Lindemann the book chickenshit which for months in the mirror - bestseller list stood. In this and the following books, the two authors describe their lives with children in a humorous way. In each case not without critical undertones that this not only offers beautiful things, that the relationship becomes stressful as a result, and also that many of today's consumer offers specifically aimed at children are unnecessary at best.

Heilmann lives with her husband and three children in Berlin-Neukölln .
