Julia Koppke

Julia Koppke (born January 1972 in Hamburg ) is a German politician (first Green Alternative List (GAL), later Rainbow ) and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

From 1997 to 2001 Julia Koppke was a member of the Hamburg Parliament for the GAL parliamentary group . During her time in the citizenship, Julia Koppke was a registered student at the University of Hamburg .

In May 1999, along with Koppke, Heike Sudmann , Norbert Hackbusch , Lutz Jobs and Susanne Uhl left the GAL parliamentary group in protest against the German involvement in the Kosovo war and founded the parliamentary group "Regenbogen", which later became the electoral association Rainbow - For a New Left originated. For the Rainbow group, she then sat as a permanent representative on the budget committee .

Koppke stood for election for the district assembly in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel . She was number three on the Rainbow Electoral Association list. She is now a board member of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Hamburg.
