Julian Bailey Dennison (born October 26, 2002 in Lower Hutt ) is a New Zealand actor of Maori descent.

life and career

Julian Dennison was born in Lower Hutt near Wellington as one of four children to Maori parents . He has a twin brother named Christian.

His first role was in the 2013 film Shopping after a casting was held at his school. For his acting performance, he was named Best Supporting Actor at the New Zealand Film and Television Awards . 2015 followed the role of Kevin in the Australian film Paper Airplane . His portrayal in it impressed director Taika Waititi so much that he cast him in 2016 for his film Where the Wild People Hunt in the lead role of Ricky Baker , without an audition, which later became the most financially successful New Zealand film.

In 2018, Dennison took on the role of Russell Collins / Firefist in the comic book version Deadpool 2 . In the 2020 release of the film Godzilla vs. Kong is supposed to play a supporting role for Dennison.
