Julian Real

Julian Real (born December 22, 1989 in Oberhausen-Königshardt ) is a German water polo player .

Julian Real played at the European Championship 2008 as the successor to Lukasz Kieloch in the position of center defender, the team took sixth place. After his good performance, Real was also appointed to the 2008 Olympic team by national coach Hagen Stamm ; At the Olympic Games in Beijing, Real was the youngest water polo player who was ever on a German Olympic team.

Julian Real started at the Sterkrader swimming club , from 2004 to 2017 he played at ASC Duisburg . In 2013 he became German champion and cup winner with the ASCD Bundesliga team. He has been playing for Waspo 98 Hannover since 2017 . There he won the German championship in 2018 and the cup in 2018 and 2019.
