Julian Rupp (born April 18, 1993 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
society
Rupp grew up in Hörbranz . He started his career there at FC Hörbranz . A few years later he was called up to the Vorarlberg performance center. For the 2010/11 season he moved to the second division club FC Lustenau 07 . In August 2010 he made his debut in the second division when he was in the starting line-up against Wolfsberger AC on the fifth day of that season and was replaced by Grisley Muniz at half-time .
In the 2010/2011 season Rupp came to twelve league appearances for Lustenau, in which he remained without scoring. In July 2011, he scored his first goal in the second division in a 4-2 defeat against First Vienna FC . In the 2011/12 season he came to a total of 20 second division appearances, in which this should remain his only goal. In the 2012/13 season Rupp completed 22 second division games and remained without a hit.
After the bankruptcy of the Lustenauer, he moved to Liechtenstein for the 2013/14 season to USV Eschen-Mauren, who played in the fourth-highest Swiss division . For Eschen he came to 24 appearances in the first division in that season , in which he scored five goals. With Eschen-Mauren he was champions of the third group of the first division at the end of the season, but they failed in the promotion playoff in the first round at FC Baden .
After a season in Liechtenstein, he returned to Austria for the 2014/15 season and moved to the regional division FC Höchst . For Höchst he made 18 goalless appearances in the Regionalliga that season, but at the end of the season he was relegated to the Vorarlbergliga as bottom of the table . Then Rupp moved to the regional league team Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz for the 2015/16 season . At the end of the season, however, as 14th in the Western League, he had to relegate to the Vorarlberg League with the Bregenz team. In his three years with Bregenz, he played 28 games in the Regionalliga and 45 games in the Vorarlbergliga.
For the 2018/19 season he switched to league rivals SV Lochau . In his six months at Lochau, he scored 17 goals in 15 games in the Vorarlbergliga. During the winter break of that season, he moved to the lower-class Swiss club FC Rebstein . He returned to Lochau for the 2019/20 season.
National team
Rupp made his debut against Slovenia for the Austrian U-18 selection in September 2010 . In the game that Austria won 4-2, Rupp also scored a goal. In 2011 he came to two missions for the U-19 team .
