Julien-Fernand Vaubourgoin

Julien-Fernand Vaubourgoin (born December 29, 1880 in Bordeaux , † November 25, 1952 there ) was a French organist, composer and music teacher.

Vaubourgoin studied at the conservatory in his hometown, where he worked all his life as an organist and teacher for piano and organ, orchestral conducting, harmony, counterpoint and composition. His numerous students included Henri Sauguet , Christian Robert , Henry Barraud , Claude Ballif and his son Marc Vaubourgoin .

In addition to chamber music works and songs, Vaubourgoin composed a. a. three organ symphonies, operas and orchestral works.
