Julien Sebag (* 1976 ) is a French mathematician who deals with arithmetic and algebraic geometry .

Julien Sebag, 2010

Sebag received his doctorate in 2002 from the University of Paris VI under François Loeser and was Maître de conférences at the University of Bordeaux I from 2003 . In 2009 he became professor at the University of Rennes I and in 2015 professeur de première classe . For 2017 he was awarded the Ferran Sunyer i Balaguer Prize .

He deals with motivic integration (after Jan Denef , François Loeser) and with Johannes Nicaise of the motivic monodrome presumption of Denef and Loeser.

His staff includes the mathematicians David Bourqui, professor at the University of Rennes 1, Antoine Chambert-Loir, professor at the University of Paris VII (Paris Diderot), Ana Reguera, professor at the University of Valladolid .
