Julien Stocker

Julien Stocker (born December 30, 1991 ) is a Swiss politician ( glp ). He is a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern and the city parliament of Biel / Bienne .

Stocker studied health sciences and technologies at the ETH Zurich .

Stocker has been a member of the Biel City Council ( parliament ) since 2017 , where he is a member of the A5 commission. As a city councilor, he has so far been involved in initiatives relating to digitization, mobility and the climate. On March 25, 2018 Stocker was elected to the Grand Council (Parliament) of the Canton of Bern, where he a. concerned with transport and environmental policy. For example, he submitted proposals for the A5 motorway and for reducing the use of pesticides in the canton. Stocker has been a member of the board of glp Biel / Bienne since 2016. Since 2018 he has been co-president of the Pro Natura regional section Zealand.

He lives in Biel / Bienne.
