Yulia Viktorovna Snigir
Julija Wiktorovna Snigir ( Russian Юлия Викторовна Снигирь ; born June 2, 1983 in Donskoi ) is a Russian actress and model .
Life
With a professional chess career in mind, Julia Snigir moved to Moscow , where she received a place at the State Pedagogical University. To finance her studies, she worked as an English teacher. It was more by chance that she was discovered as a model. She was particularly successful in the modeling business in France , where she became the face of L'Oréal , Mexx Clothing and Mexx Perfume.
Her acting career began when Snigir applied to the prestigious Moscow Vakhtangov Theater Academy. Her first major role was in the Russian science fiction film Dark Planet: The Inhabited Island . She gained international fame through her role in the Hollywood film Die Hard - A Good Day to Die .
